Living in the West is not easy for most Muslims. Many have abandoned their religion, with little or no guidance from the community. At this moment, most feel there is no real place for Islam in their lives.
We may think this is not our problem; Closing our eyes to the reality of the situation. Not really wanting to get involved, but don’t we have an obligation to our Muslim brother and sisters?
Most of our youth do not enter the masjid, even on Friday. They find their distractions with other elements in our society and believe Islam to be nothing but culture and old customs. Non-Muslim steer clear or worse still see us as aliens.
Help us in bringing the community back to the religion of Islam. You can provide a means for then to become educated and successful human beings, with a love of Allah and Prophet (peace be upon him); the way it should be.
We need to connect with this disengaged Muslim and non-Muslim community by providing a variety of programs such as counseling, workshops, training and knowledge.
